If our theories about subatomic particles were just successful "pawns" in a human conversation, we would have no reason to expect GPS satellites or MRI machines to function. The fact that these technologies work suggests that our language is not just "useful" within a social vacuum, but that it tracks the actual causal structures of the physical world. Unlike a game of chess, where rules can be changed by agreement, the "rules" of thermodynamics remain indifferent to our linguistic shifts. ## Pre-Linguistic Reality Finally, the focus on language games ignores the reality of **Qualia**—subjective, pre-linguistic experiences like pain or hunger. A dog does not need a language game to experience the "truth" of a broken leg. The sensation is an objective biological fact that precedes any social practice. By reducing truth to a linguistic "consensus," we risk an anthropocentric narcissism that ignores the vast, silent reality of the non-human world. When a scientist "discovers" a new planet, they are not refining a vocabulary; they are being forced by the world to acknowledge something that was true long before we had a word for "gravity."
